Yes, absolutely. It is a great place for moms and dads to get a quick trim; the kids can hang out and enjoy the play area.
Absolutely not! We do not have chemicals around the children.
We do French braids and glitter, but other than that, no. For safety reasons we do not have curling irons or anything hot in the salon, it’s just safer that way. You never know where little hands will end up. Besides, it is hard for most little girls to sit thru the process of an up-dos or curls.
Sure, it happens. A few will cry, however, as soon as they’re done the tears stop. Rest assure, they are completely safe, nothing hurts, it just is. It’s all good, it doesn’t bother us at all, and we are use to it. We do provide lots of distraction and plenty of hand holding.
No, we don’t use books; they are very “set up and posed,” not reality. We have lots and lots of pictures all over the shop of real kids with real hairstyles and cuts, just look around for ideas!

Little ones, can even sit on mom or dad's lap for a little extra comfort during the short amount of time we need to cut their hair.
As the owner, over two decades! The staff has also been cutting hair for just as long. We are all very experienced. Children are our specialty!
Of course, we are probably in more videos than most movie stars!

It depends on the “depth” of the curl. Some kids will have naturally curly hair all the way down to the roots. Others, have what we call “ the baby curl,” and that is just at the ends. So yes, it may be the end of the curl. However, you can take a lock of curl back home with you in a keepsake envelope for you to remember and treasure!
Of course, we are very community oriented and love to give back to the community that is so good to us. Check out our community outreach page for details on how we could help your organization.
